This painting, derived very much from the style of a sketchbook I kept whilst living beside a Weir last autumn, was my first larger work on canvas of 2023. I really wanted to incorporate aspects of my everyday drawing style into this piece. Even in its final form this painting maintains the character of a bare sketch.
 
The painting is unframed and signed on the back. It will be sent with a certificate of authenticity.
