This piece, originally a sketch based on a reference photo of a palm house, is one of several pieces I created, in various media and formats, of a subject I find endlessly rich and intriguing.

A Transparent House

A Transparent House is a sketch where I was playing with negative space and as always exploring the light-filled arena that is a house made of glass.

Orange Afternoon

This mixed media sketch was an attempt to explore a fairly minimalist representational approach, and let the white of the page do much of the work of conveying a sense of a light-filled zone.
